Tuesday league: 11 points, 6 assists, one mid-range jumper that the fieldhouse will remember. Jess was not there to witness it, which she says is convenient.

Developed a roll of Tri-X from the Sierra section in August. Frame 24: my father's camera, my father's orchard, taken on the way back through. Didn't plan it. Glad I did.

'Customary' is not a term. If someone says a clause is customary, ask them to explain what it does in one sentence. If they can't, it isn't.

PCT: 412 miles done. Kennedy Meadows to Sonora Pass this time, 9 days. Lost a toenail, found a marmot that wanted my tortillas. Fair trade.

Option grants: the exercise price is set when the board approves them, not when you promise them to a hire. Promise now, approve in six months, and you've created a tax problem for the person you were trying to reward. Get the board to meet.

First solo closing was two years ago this week. The founders are hiring their 12th employee this month. Not my company. Still proud.
